Part-time students typically enroll in 6.0-7.5 credits at a time, and they graduate in 2-3 years. Students should expect to research, participate in case competitions, and community-based projects, among other things. You can also opt to pursue a dual degree with a focus in business and law, engineering, healthcare, international development, public administration, or social work. Check out this page for more in-depth information about the part-time program.
There are several advantages to pursuing an online MBA program. Online programs can be cheaper, since there’s no housing cost added to the tuition, which may be a factor in your decision. If you’re unable to step away from a full-time position, or you’re a stay-at-home parent, then an in-person degree might not be an option for you. In that case, an online program might be the way to go! Online MBAs are just as valid and “worth the money” as in-person programs are. Check out our article here for more information.
Yes! The online program requires the same amount of rigor and focus that the in-person MBA expects.

Katz knows that an MBA is not a one size fits all situation, so they offer an intensely flexible format that allows students to complete their degree at a pace that works for them.
The program is designed with full-time professionals in mind. It is absolutely possible to still keep your position and work toward your degree simultaneously.
As with any program, students must stay up to date with readings and coursework and reach out to professors if you have a conflict. Katz students earn their Katz Credential, which is a chance for you to take specialized coursework that highlights your expertise and provides hands-on experience in a specific area you’re interested in.
From the day that students begin classes, they’re encouraged to reach out to the Career Management and Corporate Engagement team, whose sole purpose is to maximize your success and knowledge while in the program. When working with the CMCE team, you have access to alumni, mock interview sessions, resume and cover letter assistance, and individualized career exploration, among other things.
