Classes are semester-long and held 100% asynchronously online through Canvas. Faculty members are even required to take courses on teaching online courses. In addition, students can find class information, professors’ office hours, discussion posts, videos, and more through Canvas.
Many online students work full-time jobs while acquiring an online MBA from the University of Wisconsin. The program is structured around students who have to travel or continue working while attending school.
Students are required to participate in discussion posts and complete assignments every week. Since classes are asynchronous, doing homework and collaborating with students are the only ways to show active participation. Students must also read and watch lectures and comment on discussion boards to earn full credit.
