The University of Nebraska Lincoln is a 48-credit hour, 100% online MBA program that allows students to complete their degree in up to ten years. They have 30 core credit hours and 18 elective hours, with classes lasting eight weeks long. Electives include talent acquisition and predictive analytics. Students have the opportunity to earn a certificate in business analytics, financial communications, human resource management, marketing analytics, strategic marketing, supply chain management, and supply chain analytics. Classes occur synchronously and asynchronously through Canvas. Lincoln emphasizes each class using Canvas to allow for seamless use and operation. There is also an MBA@Nebraska so students can receive class notifications and updates on their phones. Most asynchronous classes offer optional live review discussions saved for later viewing. In addition, professors are easily accessible by phone, email, and video conferencing.
Many online students work full-time jobs while acquiring an online MBA from Lincoln. The program is structured around students who have to travel or continue working while attending school.
Students must complete assignments on time. This is especially important because it is the only way to show class participation in asynchronous classes.
