The Smith School of Business Online MBA is a flexible, global program with a customizable education track. The program consists of 54 credit hours and can be completed in under 24 months. There are three start dates, making this program extremely accessible. Smith also offers concentrations in the following areas: accounting, finance, information systems and business analytics, marketing, supply chain management, and general. In addition, students can spend ten days abroad, learning and working with multinational corporations for credit.

Classes meet both synchronously and asynchronously on Zoom. The program blends collaborative and independent learning with discussion posts, weekly class time, and Action Learning Projects to thoroughly combine classwork and application.
Many online students work full-time jobs while acquiring an online MBA from Smith. The program is structured around students who have to travel or continue working while attending school.
Students are required to attend weekly classes, complete asynchronous and synchronous homework, and collaborate with peers. In addition, there are two three-day residencies that students must attend at the beginning and end of the MBA program. These residencies are on-campus and help students meet each other and connect with faculty.
