Students may enroll in the W.P. Carey School of Business at one of three start dates: January, May, or August. This program allows students to take one intensive class every five weeks, requiring 57 credits to graduate. Courses include operations and supply management, ethical issues for managers, and statistics for managers. These core courses are complemented by electives, which allow you to customize your MBA with concentrations. Depending on your electives, you can concentrate on specific disciplines in the business world, such as international business, leadership, and supply chain management. Online students can also enroll in a dual-degree program and earn a Masters of Legal Studies, MSE in electrical engineering, or an MS in industrial engineering concurrent to your MBA.
You probably have heard the benefits of full-time, in-person MBA programs. These include focusing full-time on your studies, gaining access to more financial aid options, and networking. Full-time MBAs are an excellent option for students who have the financial resources to quit their jobs for two years and focus only on school. However, if you’re a young professional, parent, or frequent business traveler, the online option might be a better fit for you. Learn more about the benefits here.
The MBA curriculum delivered in the online program is the same as the full-time program. The differences include class experience and meetings, which we will discuss in this article.
