I worked with Hailey for GRE prep and it changed the trajectory of my MBA application. Before I found Menlo Prep, I was struggling significantly with test prep and utilized Target Test Prep for over a year. Nothing was working however and my score through TTP never improved. I was approaching application in less than two months and needed to make a decision on how to approach my test prep. I was able to get in contact with Hailey and in less than a month and a half, I was able to improve my score by 8+ points! I ended up getting several scholarships to business school and nobody was happier for me than Hailey. Truly a kind person who has a passion for her work and helping students. Working with Hailey has been genuinely life-changing for me. My path to a competitive test score took six years. I was juggling work, trying the GMAT repeatedly, and feeling completely stuck. From our very first conversation, Hailey convinced me that I should switch to the GRE exam as it was a better fit for my strengths.
When I began with her, I was starting from zero. I had no experience with standardized testing growing up and my initial scores were far below what any top program would consider. Over the six months we worked together, Hailey guided me through every step. She helped me make sense of the study materials, answered every question with so much patience, kept me focused when motivation dipped, and constantly reminded me that what I was aiming for was actually achievable.
Her consistency, encouragement, and belief in me changed the entire trajectory of this journey. My scores began to rise in a way I never thought possible, and after a few attempts I finally reached my target score just before the Round 1 deadline. That score helped me earn a place at HBS, something that once felt out of reach.
I truly could not have done this without her. Hailey didn’t just help me prepare for an exam. She helped me believe in myself again, and I’m deeply grateful for everything she invested in me.

I realized that it’s hard to make improvements by self paced study. And I think the complexity is really coming from the fact that, you’re working full time. And if you’re working at a challenging or time consuming job, like myself, it’s really hard to, first of all, design and then maintain a solid schedule, in in order for you to get the test results.

The refresh modules provided, you know, sufficient context and sufficient exercises to make sure we could actually do the problems given that, you know, some of the content I hadn’t seen in a few years. So I thought, like, the refresh modules were, like, very helpful for me to read through and kind of, like, gather overall information. And then I thought it was like, the way the homework was set up was also helpful in terms of having some, like, priority questions and lower priority questions was also great in managing my time.
