It’s important to choose a degree format that works best for your life and your schedule. If you’re unable to step away from a full-time position, or you’re a stay-at-home parent, then an in-person degree might not be an option for you. In that case, an online program might be the way to go! Online programs can be cheaper, since there’s no housing cost added to the tuition, which may be a factor in your decision. Remember: online MBAs are just as valid and “worth the money” as in-person programs are.
Yes! The same faculty that teach the in-person curriculum also teach in the online program. Both options require the same rigorous, hard work from the students to ensure that they are getting the most out of their time at the College of William and Mary.

The course takes place almost entirely online with only one in-person requirement at an on-campus residency event—although two residency events are offered. All classes, assignments, and exams are available online.
The University of Kansas online MBA was designed with working professionals in mind. All of the program’s coursework can be completed remotely.
As with any program, you must prepare before class and stay up to date with assignments and readings. The William and Mary online MBA program also requires students to attend at least one of their two on-campus residency weekends. At these events, students will hear from guest speakers, network with their fellow MBA students, faculty, and alumni, and connect with industry leaders.
Online MBA students have access to the same career services as their in-person counterparts, including career coaching, mentoring, and networking events.
