What is the Washington State University’s Carson Online MBA Program?

The program consists of 36 credits for those with a bachelor’s degree in business. This can be completed in 22-29 months. Up to 16 credit hours of foundational business education are offered to those who don’t have a business degree. Students can take the general track, or they can decide between one of four concentrations offered by the program: Marketing, Finance, International Business, and Hospitality Business Management. Students must also complete a capstone business planning course that demonstrates all of the knowledge you’ve gained from your time in class.

Why choose an online program over an in-person MBA?

There are several advantages to pursuing an online MBA degree, and it is important to do whatever is best for your life and your schedule. Online programs can be cheaper, since there’s no housing cost added to the tuition, which may be a factor in your decision. If you’re unable to step away from a full-time position, or you’re a stay-at-home parent, then an in-person degree might not be an option for you. In that case, an online program might be the way to go! Online MBAs are just as valid and “worth the money” as in-person programs are. Check out our article here for more information.

Do the full-time and online MBA degrees have a similar curriculum?

Yes! The online courses are taught by the same in-person faculty, so you can expect the same rigor and excellence as the full-time degree.
