Fogelman College Online MBA is a 36-credit hour program, with 30 core credit hours and six elective credit hours. There are no required prerequisites. Examples of core courses include Economics for the Global Executive, Intro to Business Analytics, and Supply Chain Operations Management. MBA students are also required to take two elective graduate courses from the Fogelman College of Business and Economics. Classes are offered in both synchronous and asynchronous formats. They are delivered through their UofM eCourseware website and Canvas. In addition, professors are available for questions and office hours via phone, email, and video conferencing.
Many online students work full-time jobs while acquiring an online MBA from Fogelman. The program is structured around students who have to travel or continue working while attending school.
Students must complete homework assignments, attend lectures, watch videos, read course material, and participate in discussion boards. As previously stated, MBA students are also required to take two elective graduate courses from the Fogelman College of Business and Economics. There is no on-campus orientation.
