The Saunders College of Business Online EMBA is a 17-month, four-semester program with two start dates in August and January. Students take two intensive courses every six weeks. The Online EMBA program is cohort-based, meaning students begin simultaneously, take the same classes, and collaborate. Class Format

Classes are formatted as weekly synchronous sessions that are recorded for students who cannot attend. Most classes feature a teaching assistant who hosts additional weekly sessions for those who wish to review materials. Students also complete capstone projects for companies to solve issues and suggest solutions. In addition, faculty members are available after classes via email or phone. All course materials are digitally provided to students and any technology the student requests. On average, around 20 hours per week are required to complete the program.

Flexibility for Working Professionals

Many online students work full-time jobs while acquiring an Online EMBA from Saunders. The program is structured around students who have to travel or continue working while attending school.

What else does this program require of its students?

All students are required to attend a three-day in-person orientation before starting classes. Another required program is the international seminar: a program that allows students to take a professional and cultural trip before graduation.
