At Menlo Coaching, we’ve had strong results working with Indian applicants from elite backgrounds—particularly those at large family businesses, private equity and venture capital firms, or other high-end employers.
But we want to be upfront:
We’re not the best fit for every Indian applicant.
Our pricing is significantly higher than local firms—and may be out of reach based on typical Indian salaries.
We focus on a small subset of Indian applicants and do not have broad admissions data across the entire applicant pool.
…and you think you may be a fit for our services, feel free to reach out directly at [email protected].
We often recommend MBA Crystal Ball, one of the most established and trusted MBA admissions consulting firms in India.
They’ve helped a wide range of applicants succeed at the M7, T10, and T25 programs—even those with challenges like low test scores, GPA issues, or career gaps.

After completing her postdoctoral training, Susie worked for a start-up in biotech. Interested in the business side of the industry, she decided to apply to an MBA. When she received five offers out of the six schools she applied to, she ultimately accepted an offer from HBS.
During the pandemic, Susie had a realization that she wanted to make a change and apply for an MBA. Since she did not have a traditional business background, she searched for someone who was experienced and creative to help her present herself in her applications, which is how she came to work with Menlo Coaching.
Susie instantly clicked with her coach, Rebecca, and appreciated her compassionate approach. For Susie, the most important indication to work with a coach was making a connection with them. This way, she was able to fully trust her coach throughout the process.
The hardest part for Susie was writing the essay. Her advice for other applicants is to focus on building a compelling argument and to use critical reasoning to convince the admissions committee that you will accomplish the promises you make in your essay.
