At Menlo Coaching, we’ve had strong results working with Indian applicants from elite backgrounds—particularly those at large family businesses, private equity and venture capital firms, or other high-end employers.
But we want to be upfront:
We’re not the best fit for every Indian applicant.
Our pricing is significantly higher than local firms—and may be out of reach based on typical Indian salaries.
We focus on a small subset of Indian applicants and do not have broad admissions data across the entire applicant pool.
…and you think you may be a fit for our services, feel free to reach out directly at [email protected].
We often recommend MBA Crystal Ball, one of the most established and trusted MBA admissions consulting firms in India.
They’ve helped a wide range of applicants succeed at the M7, T10, and T25 programs—even those with challenges like low test scores, GPA issues, or career gaps.
“MCB made me fall in love with the application process.”

Peter had been working in banking since graduating from WashU in 2017, and he was looking for a career change: he wanted to leverage his banking experience to begin a career in healthcare investing. Obtaining an MBA was the perfect way to achieve his goals. Due to his hectic work schedule, he knew he needed someone to help him manage the various deadlines and application materials, leading him to Menlo Coaching.
Peter came into the MBA admission process with a lot of apprehensions. He was unsure of what admissions officers expect when evaluating applicants: “Are they looking for a stellar background, or are they looking for a personal story?” Menlo Coaching helped to answer these questions and more, providing clarity throughout the process. And when it came time to work on his MBA interview, Menlo Coaching’s professional communications training and mock interviews led to a breakthrough for Peter: for the first time in his life, he felt comfortable before an interview.
While working with David and the Menlo Coaching team, Peter shifted his mindset from maximizing his stellar background to emphasizing personal growth. In the end, he won acceptance to Harvard Business School, Columbia, and Yale, with financial aid from the latter two programs. His advice to future applicants? “Your story should be true to yourself. And by that, I mean, when you write it, after you write it, and when you read it, you should feel like, okay, I’m talking about myself.” Peter accepted the offer from his top choice, Harvard Business School, and was thankful that the HBS AdCom recognized his effort at communicating his personal development.
