When it came to the application process, I knew I really needed to nail the essay-writing and interviews; although I felt good about my GMAT score, my GPA was less impressive at a 3.4. Though I’d been admitted to Stern, I was waitlisted by Booth (among my top choices) and Ross, and frankly, given that Stern offered no merit scholarship, I knew that to invest so much money into b-school, I wanted to attend a school with an attractive enough offer to leave my job that I still enjoy. David was crucial here. He knew exactly how to supplement my initial application, from editing more essays to providing feedback on video essays.
It worked – I was admitted to both Booth & Ross, and will be attending Booth! Throughout the process, David was clear, concise, and collaborative – qualities that met exactly what I needed.
