THANKS ALICE! Got through Kellogg, because of you!

My conversation with Alice started a year back when I decided to go with a consultant for my MBA application. I had just got a reject from INSEAD and had reached out to Alice for her advice for my application at Kellogg after reading some reviews on GMATclub. During my first conversation with her I knew her for the person she was – genuine, empathetic, and extremely helpful. She clearly said that my rejection at INSEAD was not because she saw drastic gaps in my essay, but more due to ‘bad luck’ and she would help me with my story at Kellogg, since she felt, in her words, that I was a ‘strong candidate who deserved a good offer’. I liked her honesty, and transparency. Alice was extremely helpful during the entire application process – extremely prompt and highly responsive with solid feedback. On one of the two essays, I loved how she broke down one question into four sub-questions. I hadn’t thought of the question that way and my answer post her feedback was phenomenally better.
