Lucky to have found Alice and her team

Alice has a strong dedication to excellence and always goes the extra mile. I want to echo all the other reviews in that she truly cares about her clients; I could trust her to offer her input in all aspects of my application. I started working with Alice in June for 2017 Round 1 applications, and had a call with her a few days ago after my HBS acceptance. The whole time Alice gave her 110% to understand my candidacy, help me present my strongest self, and support me as I navigated the process. I had a initial calls with several consultants and Alice clearly stood out with her genuine interest in getting to know me and knowledge of the MBA application landscape. Alice was so committed to my reflection process and brainstorming content for application essays. It was important for me to have my genuine voice, rather than being directed by a formulaic consultant who knows “what works” in an application. She was meticulous and extremely responsive when we worked on my essays, constantly challenging me to dig deeper into my experiences and motivations. She was not afraid to tell me when a draft wasn’t working and always explained her thought process while taking my feedback into account. The interview prep sessions were exceptionally nuanced for each school; Alice made sure I knew what to expect. I also had an interview prep session with her husband and business partner David, who offered a fresh perspective and focused feedback on career-related questions. It was helpful to get both Alice and David’s feedback even though I had only signed up with Alice; she would let me know when they had different views on my content so I could make the final call. Thanks to Alice, I had an incredibly rewarding six months understanding and learning how to tell my story, and was blown away by my acceptance results.
