Highly recommend – admitted to Stanford and Wharton

Working with David & Menlo Coaching is one of the best decisions I’ve made through the MBA application process. He demystified the process, kept my application on track, and ultimately helped me put my best foot forward. I worked with David on 3 schools and was admitted to two: Stanford & Wharton (with $$$). Here are a few key reasons why I recommend David & team: Expert advice: – It’s so easy to fall down the rabbit hole of blogs, testimonials and well-meaning friends who might all offer conflicting advice. David cut through that noise. I can’t count the number of times I fact-checked a piece of advice with David, only to find out it didn’t apply to my particular profile or situation. – David has a deep understanding of each school, and he was able to give me frank and honest feedback about my impressions of each program so that I could make a decision with eyes wide open. Structured process: – The application process can feel really overwhelming, particularly if you’re working a demanding full-time job. Menlo makes this less overwhelming by breaking down the application into modules to ensure clients give every component of the application the attention they need to shine. Thorough & FAST: – David was incredibly thorough, pushing me to get specific so that my experiences and stories had more impact. I believe my resume went through 10 iterations alone! Importantly, David was really really fast in providing feedback, which was huge for me – I tend to work in sprints, so his quick turnaround time meant I could crank out large chunks of the application out at a time. Personal touch: – It was extremely important to me to feel like I was true to myself through the application process. David & team not only respected this, but encouraged it. They spent hours on calls with me learning about my background and experiences, drawing the best stories out of me, and helping me tell those stories in a way that did service to my experiences. – With David, I feel like I received bonus career coaching, too! He pushed me to think about the types of companies I wanted to be a part of, what impact I wanted to have, and what path made the most sense to getting there. Business school is a huge investment, and one that I wanted to do the right way.
