HBS + Wharton Admit! Alice is a Wonderful Coach Who Speaks Her Mind

I had a wonderful time working with Alice when applying to HBS and Wharton in R1 last year (and got into both!:)). I was struck with Alice’s candid feedback on my essays and resume – she never shied away from giving me honest, constructive criticism. She does not tell you what you want to hear but tells you what she really feels and backs her arguments up with solid logic. Alice handles the process (from resume to interview) extremely well and not once did I feel worried that I might not finish my application in time or submit a sub-standard essay. She is meticulous and invested in uncovering your story, and isn’t focused on force-fitting you into a pre-defined mold. She is also able to think outside the box. I have come to rely on Alice as more than a coach or advisor and more as a friend and thought partner, and continue to stay in touch for other advice, either B-school related or not!
