Great consultant, even better person!

Chatting with Alice is always a pleasure. Initially the MBA application process was so daunting I didn’t even know where to start. I spoke with a lot of peers and contacts who had been through the process, but I realized I would still benefit from working with a consultant to receive honest, tailored, and direct feedback. I read a lot of reviews and spoke with several different consultants from both big name firms and small shops. The Big Names were a big turnoff for me because they seemed on a hurry to get me off the phone and had a very impersonal feel. I felt I could get the same level of effort from personal contacts who had been through the process. Out of the small shops I spoke with, I chose Menlo because of a) the stronger connection I felt during our initial conversation, b) their track record of success, and c) the flexible payment model. I was a giant ball of stress during the application process and Alice and David were fantastic in alleviating that and helping me to get where I wanted to be. I’m happy to report I’ve been admitted to my target schools with sizeable merit scholarships!
