Great Coach From Start To Finish

David was a remarkable coach. He was equally helpful on the macro items (which schools were a good fit, what the full application cycle looks like, etc.) as he was on the small details that were unique to specific applications. Menlo has a structured program that helps you understand the very basics and then David makes himself available to answer as many questions you can think of… and then a few more. Coming from eight years in a niche form of sales David helped me to clearly articulate my accomplishments in an easily understood way, explain how the skills and knowledge I had acquired would be helpful in an MBA (and add value to an MBA community), and why the MBA was a critical next step towards my career goals. Although David is based in Europe he was incredibly responsive. We had great back and forth exchanges via email, google docs and several voice/video calls. The time difference was in no way a hindrance and if anything meant that I was almost guaranteed responses by the time I woke up in the morning. David’s deep understanding of each school’s personality along with his ability to hone in on what makes an applicant’s story compelling absolutely transformed the application/admissions process for me. This would have been a very different (and much less fruitful!) experience without him and Menlo in my corner.
