I initially contacted Pascal because IESE was my dream school. However, given my poor mental health history that affected my undergraduate performance, my priority was to find a competent and empathetic consultant that could help me frame this delicate topic in the right way. Since, in addition to IESE and LBS, I ended up receiving an offer from Wharton, I guess we did an amazing job! We immediately established a very friendly and productive relationship, thanks to his ability to share invaluable insights from his personal life, his experience as an MBA student, and his jobs in finance and later as the head of the admission at IESE. He is always available and his suggestions are obviously top-notch. I was genuinely impressed by how fast he is at thinking and editing. Lastly, because he himself interviewed hundreds of candidates, the mock interviews were game-changing and helped me gain a lot of confidence. I could not recommend him enough! The only reason why I am sad to be attending Wharton next year is that I will not be able to see Pascal for some more tapas and beers in Barcelona. I am sure we will meet each other again though.
