Working with Alice is the dream application experience – she was super responsive to anything I put in front of her. Even when deadlines were close, I felt like her only client, as she was so attentive and thoughtful in her comments and suggestions. I could rely on her and the team no matter how small the question. Alice and the Menlo team are true experts in this process – from how to handle the ‘telling my recommender’ conversation, to what parts of my story to emphasize for each school. I had several friends or colleagues that had been to top schools, who all had conflicting pieces of advice on the process – having Alice as the trusted and informed source of truth was essential to cutting through the noise and crafting a solid application. Alice has a knack for knowing how to tailor all aspects of the application to the school and applicant’s story, and exactly which bits of the essay to push you on to get there. For interviews, Alice arranged mocks with several different members of the Menlo team, which let me practice different styles and types of questions. Choosing Menlo was not cheap, but it has made me a stronger writer and interviewee; it helped me to look inwards and develop my story for why I have chosen my life path. I definitely would not have been able to go through that growth and achieve these results without Alice and the Menlo team’s support – and I’d 100% choose to make the decision again!
